Simon is a multi-sport athlete who specialises in duathlon. He has some big aims for 2021, one of them to race in middle distance (10k/60k/10k) elite level duathlon, having previously competed for team GB as age group athlete Simon wants to push himself hard to make the next step up. Simon also achieved the ‘A’ standard qualifying time to represent the IOW at the island games for triathlon last year but unfortunately the games have been delayed till 2023. With European and World Championship events on the cards for 2021 it should hopefully be a busy year of competing and pursuing those goals! Simon is also a qualified triathlon and running coach, co-running Vectis Academy here on the island.
